Working Conference of CITIC Europe Holdings 2026

On 21 January 2026, CITIC Europe Holdings held a working conference at which the development plan for 2026 was established. Mr. Liang Huijiang, Investment Director of CITIC Holdings, attended the meeting via videoconference and presented proposals regarding the future development direction of CITIC Europe.

In his address, Liang Huijiang spoke in unequivocally positive terms about the outstanding results achieved by CITIC Europe over the past year, in particular the resolution of the company’s historical risks, the increase in the value of its assets, and its achievements in promoting bilateral Czech–Chinese business cooperation. He emphasized that, going forward, CITIC Europe must focus on the implementation of three key tasks. First, it should participate more intensively in the business strategy promoted by the Group, clearly define its own position within the Group’s global operations, and actively develop core capabilities and competencies to strengthen its competitiveness. Second, it should establish a robust and reliable risk prevention and management system to ensure stable and long-term development in a complex international environment. Third, it should continue to enhance management efficiency and further integrate culturally diverse teams in order to build a solid foundation for the sustainable development of CITIC Europe. Liang Huijiang called on CITIC Europe to seize this opportunity and become an important platform of CITIC Group in the European market.

At the working conference, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CITIC Europe, Mr. Su Guoxin, delivered a work report. He reviewed the company’s business performance for 2025, during which both total revenue and profit achieved steady growth and major asset transactions were successfully completed. Su Guoxin stated that in 2026 the company will resolutely implement the strategy of CITIC Group. With the objective of “ establishing a solid foothold in the Czech Republic, looking to Europe, and linking with China” the company will accelerate the transformation of CITIC Europe from an entity primarily focused on asset management into an investment platform. In 2026, CITIC Europe will focus primarily on optimizing its existing business operations, prudently identifying new investment opportunities, strengthening its customer-oriented approach, and deepening risk management, with the aim of further enhancing the company’s overall performance.

During the conference, heads of various functional departments of CITIC Group also delivered remarks and provided working recommendations within their respective areas of expertise to CITIC Europe. Two representatives of CITIC Europe employees, who were honored with the title of “CITIC Group Top 100 Employees of 2025,” also shared their experiences at the conference. The working conference jointly defined the direction for CITIC Europe’s further development in the current year. The company’s management stated that it will actively implement the measures adopted by the Group and promote high-quality business development.
