CITIC Europe and Yanjing Beer Sign Cooperation Memorandum

On August 20, 2026, CITIC Europe and Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation at the historic Živnostenská banka building in the Czech Republic. Su Guoxin, Chairman of CITIC Europe, and Xie Guangjun, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Yanjing Beer Group, attended the signing ceremony. Chu Xiao, Director of CITIC Europe, and Lin Zhiping, Assistant General Manager of Yanjing Beer Group, signed the memorandum on behalf of the two parties. CITIC Europe directors Li Jing and Wang Qin also attended.

Su Guoxin welcomed Xie Guangjun and his delegation and introduced the development history and business operations of CITIC Europe and the Lobkowicz Beer Group. He stated that Yanjing Beer Group is one of the world’s leading beer groups and has advanced experience in business management, production operations and market development. CITIC Europe hopes to further strengthen exchanges with Yanjing Beer Group and actively explore opportunities for cooperation in the development of domestic and international beer markets, production cooperation and other areas.

Xie Guangjun introduced the development history and business operations of Yanjing Beer Group and spoke highly of the quality of Lobkowicz beer. He described Lobkowicz beer as combining “quality products, a clean environment, and brewers with integrity,” and praised its rich heritage and exceptional quality. Yanjing Beer has a broad market base in China, with products sold throughout the country. Yanjing Beer Group is willing to further strengthen exchanges with CITIC Europe and jointly explore models for business cooperation.

Before the signing, Xie Guangjun and his delegation visited the Protivín Brewery and the Ježek Brewery, both part of the Lobkowicz group, to gain an in-depth understanding of Lobkowicz beer production processes and business operations. The history of the Lobkowicz Protivín Brewery can be traced back to 1540. It still uses open fermentation vessels and continues traditional craft-brewing methods. The history of the Ježek Brewery dates back to 1860; it is now equipped with advanced brewing equipment, and its products have won numerous awards.

Representatives of CITIC Europe’s Strategic Coordination Department and the relevant departments of Yanjing Beer also participated.
